After over two plus long years of waiting, Disney and Guardians of the Galaxy fans now have a date for the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. 

Construction of this new, revolutionary indoor rollercoaster started over two years ago in the former “Ellen’s Energy Adventure” building in the EPCOT theme park. As everyone knows, construction, and everything else, was halted in March, 2020 due to the COVID-19 worldwide pandemic.

Construction and testing is now complete and Disney has finally announced an opening date:

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will officially open on May 27, 2022 in EPCOT.
