Disney Lemmings Unite… A New Figment Popcorn Bucket???

Disney released yet another “limited edition” popcorn bucket that Disney eccentrics went crazy for… Again!

This edition of the, “I have to buy as many as I can so that I can sell on eBay”, merchandise is a Figment Popcorn bucket for $25… Yes, $25 for a plastic purple dragon that comes with roughly a handful of multi-colored popcorn.

The Figment Popcorn bucket went on sale at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Show on Saturday, January 15, 2022. As usual, there were lines of those that wanted to profit off of the release of new Disney merchandise. Disney had reportedly set a 2 per customer maximum for all new Disney releases, but either these profiteers found a loophole, or Disney was not adhering to its own rules. There were images on Twitter and other social media platforms showing people carrying 6+ popcorn buckets with many other in large bags.

What then happens is that the sought after Figment Popcorn buckets with then be sold online, in most instances, eBay for astronomical amounts. This causes the Disney Lemmings to either have to pay the high price gouged amounts or go without a product that they have been brainwashed that their lives will be without meaning if they do not have this overpriced product.

The easiest way to stop these Theme Park Profiteers is to not purchase the products online. As you can see from the ridiculous prices in the screenshot from eBay above, there have been zero bids on these products. If these people get stuck with 10 $25 popcorn buckets that they cannot sell, they will be less likely to go and horde the next product like this that Disney releases.

After reading this, you may think that my opinion is that these resellers are bad people… But that is not true. I think that they are taking advantage of a situation that they may be able to better themselves or their situation. To be honest, If I was able to, I would be doing the same thing. The people that I blame are those that actually have no self-control and cannot go without a product and purchase this type of product at the ridiculous, online, resale price.
